Strand jacks are highly effective for lifting or positioning heavy loads in confined spaces where traditional cranes may not be feasible. Utilizing hydraulic cylinders and steel wires (strands), strand jacks can lift heavy components to the required height or pull (skid) them into position.
With capacities ranging from 15 tons to 1,130 tons, SMCLR offers a broad range of strand jack combinations to suit various applications. When used in conjunction with supporting gantries, strand jacks can lift civil constructions or power plant components efficiently. They are also employed with skidding beams to transfer heavy offshore platforms to and from barges.
